My name is Alex Buckley I am a third year IT student at NMIT (Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology) in Nelson, New Zealand, and a developer for Catalyst IT working on the Koha ILMS (Integrated Library Management System).
I am passionate about software development, project management, user experience (UX) and travel and hope to combine them into a career.
This blog originally covered the journey of learning I travelled through as I improved my research skills in the RES701 course at NMIT in the first half of 2017. But now I am expanding it into my personal blog to discuss my learning and thoughts on technology and business as someone starting out in these fields.
